<p>KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our <a href="https://tax.kpmg.us/services/valuations.html" target="_blank">Valuations</a> practice.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Oversee value fee for service third party contracts in the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences industry</li><li>Contribute to business development efforts related to regulated fee for service valuation (FMV) and deliver valuation services related to a variety of Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences fee for service transactions</li><li>Analyze vendor cost and market data for unique assets and services</li><li>Develop and review Microsoft Excel based FMV models and oversee the development of technology to manage supporting information from disparate data sets</li><li>Manage multiple client relationships</li><li>Supervise, mentor, and facilitate the development of consulting skills for staff including valuation principles, communication, time management, and client product delivery</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Minimum five years of recent experience with the issuance of valuation opinions preferably in the healthcare or life sciences sector</li><li>Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or quantitative finance</li><li>Licensed ABV, in addition to others on KPMG’s approved credential listing; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials; should you like to see the complete list of currently approved designations/credentials for the hiring practice/service line, your recruiter can provide you with that list</li><li>Demonstrated ability to develop and leverage industry relationships for business development purposes</li><li>In-depth understanding of the pharmaceutical industry with the ability to accurately foresee potential client’s valuation needs based on the current and expected regulatory environment</li><li>Ability to explain and defend valuation concepts to diverse audiences and to professionals at various clients; effective written and verbal communication skills as well as strong analytical skills</li></ul>
