<p>KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, HR People Relations to join our Talent & Culture organization.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Address employee relations cases of low complexity, consult with OGC as appropriate and counsel employees through situations by interpreting and applying knowledge of firm and HR policies</li><li>Support HR Management on low complexity investigations on a variety of matters, including violation of firm policy or procedure, perceived unfair treatment and unlawful workplace activity</li><li>Participate in the oversight of employee conflicts, supporting AWA process, and evaluating requests for medical accommodations; assist with emergency response/crisis management cases, employee separations, leaves of absence, transfers and relocations, and outside employment verifications</li><li>Escalate more complex issues as necessary to PRG management and other duties may involve support of annual performance assessment and salary review processes in conjunction with the HRBAs as needed</li><li>Provide OMP/Local Office support and counsel on HR programs to HR Management team, including but not limited to I&D, Affirmative Action initiatives, EOC, Town Hall meetings and HR reporting</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Minimum one year of recent experience in Human Resources</li><li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or an additional year of relevant work experience</li><li>Strong understanding of basic HR principles</li><li>Ability to handle highly confidential information and multi-task; strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Exceptional verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Knowledge of PeopleSoft; highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel</li></ul>
