<p>KPMG is currently seeking a Specialist to join our <a href="https://advisory.kpmg.us/" target="_blank">Managed Services</a> practice.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Work as part of a cross-functional team to understand business needs and requirements</li><li>Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the firm? business and technology areas, products, systems, and supporting functions; Identify risks and assess mitigating controls to meet business and technology requirements</li><li>Follow standard guidelines and best practices for preventing data leakage; Maintain and document any updates to current protocol</li><li>Analyze the business and technology processes to evaluate the effectiveness of the relevant technology controls</li><li>Provide clear and concise verbal and written recommendations and guidance to both business and technology staff; Assist in report preparation to present the scope, progress, and results of work effort</li><li>Grow technical skillset by seeking out cross-training and knowledge advancement opportunities; Effectively communicate technical and non-technical concepts to stakeholders</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Minimum one year of recent experience, prior knowledge with Splunk and/or other SIEM platforms a plus</li><li>Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university (US or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or any related degree</li><li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down and communicate complex issues, ideas, and solutions; Able to apply knowledge and experience to arrive at creative solutions</li><li>Self-motivated and able to work in both autonomous and collaborative environments that are fast, the ability to multi-task and remain organized in a fast-paced environment; Excellent relation management skills; Solid verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to travel as necessary</li><li>Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future</li></ul>
